Flor del Valle Sky Flower - the elusive Medio Tiempo Ligero Leaf!

Like the first three vitolas of Flor Del Valle, Sky Flower is also made at the TABSA factory of Casa Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua. Flor del Valle translates to "flower of the valley" and is poetry in tobacco. Sky Flower includes some rarer medio tiempo leaf, which is the very top-most ligero leaf that grows on some tobacco plants, closest to the sky. Medio tiempo is the youngest tobacco leaf and often the oiliest and strongest of the ligero primings. Being smaller they afford the blender the opportunity to add an extra dash of spice to lend great character and interest to a blend without overpowering.

100% of the tobacco in this blend is Aganorsa grown, which is known as some of the very finest tobacco produced today in Nicaragua. This is the reincarnation of the 1900s Cuban brand of the same name. Sweet spice and balanced body are the primary characteristics of this blend. The wrapper is a Corojo leaf grown in the Jalapa valley. The Corojo and Criollo filler is secured by a double binder. As noted, the medio tiempo ligero adds an extra signature to this already exceptional blend.
